Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 9, 2026
Welcome to Navdora Inc. ("Navdora," "we," "our," or "us").
By using Navdora.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. What Navdora Is
Navdora is an online platform that allows individuals and organizations to request current, location-specific information from independent Verified Local Residents.
A request may relate to a neighborhood, property, hotel, vacation rental, business, attraction, route, accessibility, construction, noise, atmosphere, or any other lawful matter that can reasonably be investigated through observation at a location.
Navdora does not itself provide field services, inspections, investigations, local verification, travel services, or professional advice.
Navdora operates the technology platform, reviews requests, verifies the general identity and location of Verified Local Residents, facilitates the submission and review of completed Investigations, and facilitates payment.
Every request is reviewed before publication to help ensure that it is clear, lawful, and appropriate for the platform.
2. Independent Verified Local Residents
Verified Local Residents are independent users of the platform.
They are not employees, contractors, agents, partners, representatives, or affiliates of Navdora.
Verified Local Residents:
-
choose whether to accept individual requests;
-
determine their own schedule and manner of completing a request;
-
are responsible for complying with applicable laws;
-
are responsible for their own travel and other expenses incurred while completing a request.
Nothing within these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between Navdora and any Verified Local Resident.
3. Definitions
Requestor means any individual or organization that submits a Request through Navdora.
Verified Local Resident means an independent individual whose identity and general location have been verified by Navdora and who may choose to fulfill Requests.
Request means information submitted through Navdora asking for current, location-specific information or verification.
Investigation means the completed work prepared by a Verified Local Resident in response to a Request. An Investigation may include written observations, photographs, videos, audio, or other materials specifically gathered in connection with the Request.
Content means all text, photographs, videos, audio, messages, and other materials submitted through the platform.
4. How Requests Work
Requests may be submitted for locations worldwide.
Submitting a Request does not guarantee:
-
that a Verified Local Resident will be available nearby;
-
that a Verified Local Resident will accept the Request;
-
that the Request will be completed;
-
that an Investigation will be available within a specific timeframe.
When possible, Navdora will offer a Request to an appropriate Verified Local Resident.
A Verified Local Resident may accept or decline any Request.
Once a Verified Local Resident accepts a Request, they will generally have up to 72 hours to complete it whenever reasonably possible.
The completed Investigation is then reviewed by Navdora before being presented to the Requestor.
5. Verification of Local Residents
Navdora verifies the identity and general location of Verified Local Residents before allowing them to fulfill Requests.
Verification may include reviewing government-issued identification, an unaltered selfie, and information demonstrating residence in or near the relevant destination.
Verification does not guarantee:
-
professional qualifications;
-
specialized expertise;
-
future availability;
-
perfect accuracy;
-
that a Verified Local Resident will personally know every aspect of a location.
Verification is intended to provide greater confidence that an Investigation is being prepared by a genuine person who lives in or near the location concerned.
6. Investigations and Current Information
Investigations are based on observations made by the Verified Local Resident at the time the Investigation is completed.
Photographs, videos, and other media are intended to show current conditions at the time they were captured.
Conditions may subsequently change because of factors including:
-
weather;
-
construction;
-
business closures;
-
traffic;
-
crowds;
-
seasonal changes;
-
local events;
-
renovations or other changes to a location.
Navdora does not guarantee that conditions shown or described in an Investigation will remain unchanged after the Investigation has been completed.
An Investigation represents the Verified Local Resident's observations and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, engineering, accessibility, or other specialized advice.
7. Acceptable Requests
Requestors may ask for information about lawful, publicly accessible locations, including but not limited to:
-
neighborhoods;
-
hotels and accommodations;
-
vacation rentals;
-
businesses;
-
attractions;
-
transportation routes;
-
walking routes;
-
accessibility;
-
construction;
-
noise;
-
local atmosphere;
-
current conditions;
-
photographs or videos;
-
comparisons between locations;
-
other location-specific matters that can reasonably be observed.
Requests must be lawful and reasonably capable of being completed without requiring a Verified Local Resident to engage in prohibited or unsafe conduct.
8. Prohibited Requests
Requestors may not request:
-
illegal activity;
-
trespassing;
-
surveillance of individuals;
-
harassment;
-
stalking;
-
collection of private personal information;
-
entry into private or restricted property without permission;
-
deception or impersonation;
-
unsafe or dangerous activities;
-
any activity that would violate applicable law.
Navdora reserves the right to reject, modify, remove, or refuse any Request at its discretion.
9. Responsibilities of Verified Local Residents
Verified Local Residents agree to:
-
provide honest, good-faith observations;
-
create their own original photographs and videos;
-
accurately represent what they personally observe;
-
comply with applicable laws;
-
respect privacy rights;
-
avoid unsafe situations;
-
avoid trespassing;
-
avoid entering restricted areas without permission;
-
avoid misleading, fabricated, or materially altered Content.
Verified Local Residents are responsible for how they choose to fulfill Requests.
They must not spend money on behalf of a Requestor or enter into paid transactions with businesses or individuals as part of fulfilling a Request unless expressly authorized by Navdora.
Any travel, parking, transportation, or other expenses voluntarily incurred by a Verified Local Resident are their own responsibility.
10. Investigation Review
Completed Investigations are reviewed by Navdora before the Requestor is invited to purchase them.
The purpose of this review is to determine whether the Investigation reasonably addresses the published Request and meets Navdora's basic response requirements.
Navdora may request revisions from a Verified Local Resident before approving an Investigation.
Approval does not constitute a guarantee that every observation, statement, photograph, video, or other piece of Content is accurate.
11. Payment
There is no charge to submit a Request.
A Requestor is only invited to pay after a Verified Local Resident has completed the Investigation and Navdora has approved it for presentation.
The current purchase price for a completed Verified Local Resident Investigation is CAD $149, including applicable taxes where stated on the purchase page.
The Requestor is under no obligation to purchase a completed Investigation.
If the Requestor chooses to purchase the Investigation, payment must be completed through the payment method made available by Navdora.
Payments are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Navdora retains a platform service fee, with the remaining agreed-upon amount paid to the Verified Local Resident.
Currency conversions, exchange rates, and third-party payment processing fees are outside Navdora's control.
12. The 72-Hour Purchase Period
Once an Investigation has been approved and presented to the Requestor, the Requestor will generally have 72 hours to purchase the completed Investigation.
If the Investigation is not purchased within that period, the Investigation will expire and no payment will be due from the Requestor.
Navdora may, at its discretion, extend or shorten the availability period in exceptional circumstances.
The 72-hour purchase period is intended to provide the Requestor with a reasonable opportunity to decide whether to purchase the completed Investigation while also ensuring that Verified Local Residents are not required to wait indefinitely for payment.
13. Delivery of a Purchased Investigation
After payment has been successfully completed, Navdora will provide the Requestor with access to the completed Investigation.
The Investigation may include:
-
a detailed written report;
-
current photographs;
-
current video;
-
audio where applicable;
-
explanations accompanying photographs or video;
-
firsthand observations from the Verified Local Resident.
Investigations are delivered electronically.
14. Refunds
Because each Investigation is individually prepared in response to a specific Request and may involve a Verified Local Resident personally visiting a location, refunds are generally not available simply because a Requestor disagrees with the observations contained in the Investigation.
Refunds may be considered where:
-
the wrong Investigation was delivered;
-
the Investigation is materially incomplete compared with the published Request;
-
a significant portion of the promised Investigation was not provided;
-
a duplicate payment was made;
-
fraud or a significant technical error occurred; or
-
another circumstance reasonably warrants a refund.
Navdora reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Changes in conditions after an Investigation was completed do not, by themselves, constitute grounds for a refund.
15. Taxes
Verified Local Residents are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes arising from payments received through Navdora.
Navdora does not provide tax advice.
16. Privacy
Users agree to comply with applicable privacy laws.
Requestors and Verified Local Residents must not use the platform to collect, publish, or distribute private personal information.
Navdora processes personal information for purposes related to operating the platform in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
17. Intellectual Property
Verified Local Residents retain ownership of the original Content they create.
By submitting Content through Navdora, Verified Local Residents grant Navdora a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that Content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the platform.
A Requestor who purchases an Investigation receives a personal-use license to use the Investigation for the purpose for which it was purchased.
Commercial reuse, redistribution, resale, or publication of Investigation Content requires permission from the applicable rights holder or Navdora where applicable.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Navdora is not responsible for:
-
the actions or omissions of Requestors;
-
the actions or omissions of Verified Local Residents;
-
the accuracy or completeness of Investigations;
-
decisions made by Requestors based on Investigations;
-
financial losses;
-
safety outcomes;
-
changes to locations after an Investigation has been completed;
-
travel, accommodation, property, business, or other decisions made using information obtained through Navdora.
Navdora provides a platform for obtaining location-specific information and does not guarantee any particular outcome from using that information.
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
19. Refusal of Service
Navdora Inc. reserves the right to reject, remove, suspend, or refuse any Request, Investigation, Content, or participation on the platform if, in its sole discretion, it believes that a user or Verified Local Resident has:
-
violated these Terms;
-
submitted false or misleading information;
-
engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity;
-
attempted to misuse or abuse the platform;
-
requested or performed unsafe, unlawful, or prohibited activities; or
-
otherwise acted in a manner that may harm Navdora, its users, or Verified Local Residents.
Navdora may also refuse future Requests or participation from any individual who repeatedly violates these Terms.
20. Changes to These Terms
Navdora may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the platform after revised Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Navdora Inc.
Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws and courts having jurisdiction over Navdora Inc.
